Public Lecture on (Religious) ToleranceOn 24 January, 7 p.m. Rainer Forst will give a public lecture on "Tolerance - On the Anatomy of a Contested Concept (Toleranz - Zur Anatomie eines umstrittenen Begriffs)" at the Paulinum of Leipzig University. In his lecture, Forst will explain different conceptions of tolerance and their historical emergence. He will also discuss the question how the concept can be applied to contemporary conflicts and social challenges. The lecture will be held in German and is part of the "exkurs-lectures" series of the DFG. The lecture will be recorded and can be viewed in the DFG's media library afterwards.
